Saturday night was off the hook! Everytime Peven Everett rolls through the A, I always seem to miss him: first MJQ and then Apache. I made sure to not have missed him at Tambor this past Saturday. Big ups to the Tambor Crew for making it happen. Such a real ass dude. Billie Jewell is officially the business. I appreciate the conversation that her, Peven and myself had. Gave me insight into what I truly want to accomplish in this scene. Knowledge is key. When I heard Burning Hot, Sunshine, Gabrielle, Girl Of My Dreams and Inspiration, I felt on cloud nine.

Casamena and Peven Everett
This past weekend brought some amazing talent to Atlanta. Carlos Mena (Casamena, SF) stopped through to show Atlanta some Love. The last time he played was Labor Day weekend and did the damn thing. Hearing some of my fav tunes, such as: Blaze's 'Elevation', Karizma's remix of 'Wanna Be Loved', DJ Spinna's remix of Black Coffee's track 'Never Saw You Coming' and Manoo's remix of 'Zvinosirisa' really set the dance floor on deck. Big ups to Tiffany for bringing him down. Now for some pictures:

Nickodemus @ The SoundTable
I had the pleasure of hearing New York's own, Nickodemus. For those who do not know whom he is, the music transcends all genres: Funk, House, Broken Beat, Merengue, Bossa Nova and Hip Hop (just to name a few). He kept my feet moving with percussion.
Sidenote: WHY did he remember me from Miami? I blame the Tribe Party for this one.All that hot music in one place (lol). Onto the pictures:
RUBY!!!

Tambor Party with Jihad Muhammad
I give thanks to all who have either checked out my blog or subscribed. Goodness knows how many people have checked it out. The more, the merrier. I appreciate all of the love for it.
Secondly, I shall have my interview with DJ Tabone up soon. I did it not too long ago and I did not have the opportunity of taping it and posting it online. Luckily, someone did for me and I appreciate it. Big ups to DJ Tabone for reaching out and keeping the Global Soul movement going! Support it: EVERY WEDNESDAY from 2-4 on WRFG 89.3 Atlanta.
FINALLY: This past Saturday, we had Jihad Muhammad (Bang The Drum, NJ) come through and bless up some good vibes to us all. The last time he was here was about four years ago and did the damn thing. To say the least, he turned it! I would have had more pics, but I was dancing all night. I see you doing your thing, JERSEY! I danced my ass off and lost it. Goodness knows we all needed it! Nonetheless, here are pictures:

This Thursday ATL: Shake off that Thanksgiving food! YESSIR:

Connect with Lars B, Charles Webster and Halloween Madness
So yeah, I had the great opportunity of interviewing Lars B for my blog and I was happy and thankful to say the least. His set was amazing! That NEW Deetron is the shit and I do not care what anyone else thinks. I lost it when I heard that track! Precious indeed! Cop it on Traxsource, peoples! Okay, so now to the pictures:
My interview with Lars. Thank You oh so much once again! YAY!
Two nights later, Charles Webster did his set at SoundTable. Here are some pictures:
Halloween weekend for the House Scene sure was awesome! Yusef's birthday was on that day and so was Sunday School. Here are some pictures:

Anane, Simbad, Spread Love and More!
Damn I have been slipping...BAD! I usually I am on this updating peoples about what is going on, but so many projects have been on the horizon.
BACK TO BUSINESS: Atlanta was jumping this past weekend with some hot events on the menu. I happened to roll through at 595 North for Tambor Party. DJ Miss Kai opened up with a an afrobeat/deep/broken beat sound, keeping my feet and others moving. Afterwards, Stan Zeff and brought the heat. The lady of the night, Anane Vega, brought the heat RIGHT off her flight from South Africa. Talk about madness! Such a sweetheart and a beautiful person.
After I danced my behind off and did some chatting, I headed over to The SoundTable to hear my boy Simbad. . BIG UPS! How about I caught him in the LAST track and missed his WHOLE SET?! I am so sorry homie. I got you next time for sure! I did however managed to catch Daz's set. LOVE!
FLIP TO SATURDAY NIGHT: Spread Love was on fire! The energy was high, beautiful and very ancestral to say the least. DJ Ausar, DJ Kemit, the special guests and everyone else brought the heat. I was doing face paint all NIGHT, but I did manage to get some dancing in. Onto the pictures:
On Sunday, I had the pleasure and honor of doing a video shoot with Miranda Nicole. For those who do not know, she has a song out called 'Kissing You', in which Ian Friday remixed. Big ups. This woman is about to blow up. Besos mami!
